Urge Congress to Defund the EPA!

No agency possesses the power to make law, and yet that is precisely what the EPA has done by placing itself above Congress on all matters relating to energy production and consumption. And it's only getting worse.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is one of the least transparent federal agencies, is based on faulty science, and creates job killing regulations.  The latest example is a set of regulations that are shutting down 285 coal plants, risking a future of rolling brownouts.  Sadly, incoming EPA administrator Gina McCarthy is continuing to lead this fight.

According to an American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity analysis, the hardest hit states by EPA policy are Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana. Nationwide, the number of actual plant closures is five times greater than EPA predicted would occur because of its regulations.

Gina McCarthy, the new EPA administrator, is no friend of coal. Nor will she do anything about rolling back the agency’s carbon endangerment finding, which ruled that carbon dioxide, a biological gas necessary for the very existence of life, is a “harmful pollutant” under the terms of the Clean Air Act.

Nor will she repeal the EPA’s regional haze rule, carbon restrictions on new and existing power plants, and the “National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants” that restricts mercury emissions from plants.

Sue-and-settle arrangements the agency enters with organizations will similarly continue. This is where a group sues demanding that the EPA enforce the law in a new, expanded way and the agency enters into a consent decree with the party, which is signed by a judge. This leaves the agency with new powers under the Clean Air and Water Acts.

No agency possesses the power to make law, and yet that is precisely what the EPA has done by placing itself above Congress on all matters relating to energy production and consumption. And it’s only getting worse. The only option to rein in this rogue agency is to urge Congress to act aggressively and use its power of the purse to defund these regulations.

You know what to do!  Let’s urge members of Congress to stop the EPA by defunding the agency. Members should refuse to increase the debt ceiling unless these regulations are repealed in full.  We need to encourage job creation, not make it impossible for businesses to prosper. But your representative and senators need to know you stand with them in order to find the courage to act.

We should de-fund the EPA because they are a criminal organization that supports other immoral organization big oil, big pharma, and big farming. Climate change is real, but the type EPA is talking about is total bs, because we are in a period that is after the last ice age. Beside, it's a great way to filter out all the people who can't handle a little smog, a bunch of wimps and democrats(like President Trump). Congress I beg, you, and urge defund the EPA, ban insurance, and tell big farming to stop destroying our nation! Real Americans want to be happy!

The EPA is not about saving the environment. This type of communist organization has no place in our society.

There is no constitutional mandate for the epa, nor for several other agencies. At this point, the political environment is in far more danger than the natural one. End the EPA! It is a state issue.

Who cares about the f#ing environment. No commandment says to protect the earth. The stupid earth will be here, even after we die. Last time I checked the ice in my fridge was still solid. God created this f-ing planet for us to do whatever the hell we wanted. We've been burning forests and we'll keep on doing that, because mankind alone cannot have an impact on the environment. Not even 1000 nukes could destroy life on this planet, Rush Limbaugh said that clearly! Rush Limbaugh is the Messiah that Jesus predicted!
