Urge Congress to keep President Trump's promise and build the wall now!

Make a promise, keep a promise.

President Donald Trump ran on building the southern border wall, and the Republican Congress needs to fund it in the 2019 spending bill.

On Jan. 27, 2017, House Speaker Paul Ryan told the American people that, "This is something, [the wall], we want to get on right away. And so we do believe this is urgent. We believe this is one of the most important promises the President made running for office. It's a promise he's going to keep and it's a promise we're going to help him keep."

Ryan added, “We anticipate a supplemental coming from the administration on defense and the border” and “I’m hoping in the first quarter we can get this done. But again, it’s getting [Mick Mulvaney confirmed as Office of Management and Budget Director and] up and running so they can send us the supplemental.”

Mulvaney was confirmed on Feb. 16 and the supplemental request was proposed on March 14 by Mulvaney and then formally put in on March 16 by President Trump to Speaker Ryan. Trump kept his side of the bargain. But somehow, by March 30, Ryan had changed his tune, telling CBS News, “The big chunk of money for the wall really is… next fiscal year’s appropriations because they literally can’t start construction even this quickly.”

The wall was not funded in the September spending bill either. Then, Ryan called a government shutdown “not necessary” when in fact it may be the only way to get the wall built. He and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised $12 billion to $15 billion for the wall a year ago. Now, all they've got done is the President's $1.6 billion supplemental he asked for last year.

September may be the last chance to get it done and fully fund the wall while Republicans still control Congress with the midterms up in November.

Ryan has already moved the goal posts four times, and we can't let him do it again. He is locked in to provide the funding for the wall now. Time's up. Congress is rapidly losing credibility on implementing any parts of the Trump agenda that won the election in 2016. Congress has to keep its word and build the wall!

You know what to do! Let’s urge Congress to build the southern border wall just like they promised.

The GOP Congress needs to keep Trump’s promise on the wall, for failure would be a politically devastating betrayal of the voters that who elected both President Trump and the GOP majorities in the House and Senate.

Whatever it takes, the GOP Congress must get that wall built. And they should get it done now!

Our wall should have 2 wire fences and a minefield in between the fences. We should also have Gun Towers in strategic areas along the wall. Our gun towers should be equipped with machine guns, missiles , rockets, and plenty of grenades too. Our new Gun Tower officers should have the legal authority to kill any man , woman, or child attempting to enter our country illegally! Our Gun Tower Officers must be protected and indemnified from international courts, international tribunals, the United Nations and all Communists that want America in The New World Order!!! The US Army Corps of Engineers should be assigned the task of building the wall. The US Army and the Border Patrol should work together on Border Security... Members of congress who do not support building the wall, should be voted out of office!

You Republicans have failed us again! Perhaps, at the midterm election we can get some new Republicans and fewer Democrats and then we won't have to hope for "RINO" support. Really, this is your once in a life time to actually do some things that are great for our country by supporting our great President and his agenda. Why do you keep kowtowing to the Democrats and why won't you stand behind our President. Do you not understand what the American citizens want??? Why do you think Donald Trump was elected... because we wanted everything to remain the same???? If you're worried about not being reelected to office, you need only worry about that, if you don't support our President.

I see the reports of illegal immigrants that have been deported time and time again committing crimes against our American CITIZENS and get angry at the members of Congress for not funding the wall to help in the tightening up of our borders. When will you elected officials do what you are being paid for by my hard earned tax payer dollars and protect the American people from these criminals? Enough is enough! Fund the blasted Wall!

The eight years of the Obama Administration was nothing less that a insult to the USA and the entire American Citizens after all the BS that we got from the Democratic Administration. Now we have a president that does care about the USA and where we stand today economically and fund our Military. It is time that our Congress pull their heads out of the Sand and do what is totally necessary to keep our USA and our Military Forces fully funded so as when the call comes and it may well come sooner that the Politicians in Washington, DC Expect for they seem to have their heads also in the sand pile! The strength of our nation depends upon the value the politicians have for our USA and We the American Tax Payers and those of us who have served many years in our Military and gave our all for the defense and security of our Country!

Self-serving RINOs, like Ryan & McConnell, are a sad excuse for our Republican leadership. We need true conservative leaders who can, and will, help to guide our country toward the desires and interests of our people. Our Republican leaders seem to have ulterior motives or, else, they don't understand, or care, why Trump is now our President.
