Urge Congress to keep their promises and repeal Obamacare—all of it!

Make a promise, keep a promise.

It is catastrophic and disappointing that House GOP Leadership are pretending that their proposal is a full Obamacare repeal, when it fails to even reach the minimum repeal standard passed by Congress in 2015 and vetoed by then President Obama.

Congressional Republicans have been entrusted with leadership largely due to their oft-repeated promise to repeal Obamacare, the Ryancare bill accepts the underlying principles of the failed health care law, and attempts to fix it. The Ryan bill is indefensible both from a policy and political perspective.

It is up to the American people to remind Republicans of their promise to repeal all of Obamacare. It is crazy for the GOP to try to go back to the American people and tell them that the rules of Congress prohibited them from re-establishing state based health care solutions, and instead they should be happy with a mutant national health care plan. For the first time in six years, Nancy Pelosi sees a pathway to holding the Speaker’s gavel again, ironically through the GOP’s planned failure to keep their Obamacare repeal promise that defeated her in 2010.

President Donald Trump needs to take a step back from the Ryancare abyss and listen to those of us who supported him. This legislation must be retooled to rip all of Obamacare out by the roots, followed by a replacement bill that respects the American people and the Constitution by returning authority over health care to the states.

You know what to do! Let’s urge the House and Senate to keep their election promises and fully repeal Obamacare! If last year’s repeal was good enough for former President Barack Obama to veto, it should be good enough for President Trump to sign.

Provide different levels of health care for those who choose not to have insurance. ie Mess hall eating facility vs. restaurant. Everyone gets taken care of; just different costs.

ObamaCare has been given a fair chance to succeed. It has failed to make any measurable difference in the problems this legislation was drafted to address. Costs have increased dramatically. The use of emergency rooms to obtain primary care has not decreased. More people are covered but cannot afford their deductibles or cannot find a doctor who accepts Medicaid. Unelected bureaucrats have inserted themselves into the doctor-patient relationship. I think President Trump believes in universal access to quality health care regardless of ability to pay but he knows ObamaCare is not working. Congress must repeal ObamaCare. The American People demand and deserve better.

REPEAL the ObamaCare catastrophe! You can do it in one sentence that will fit on the back of a postcard. If you don't repeal ObamaCare as you promised, you'll be even more untrusted than the Swamp Media. We don't believe a single word they say, now, including "and" and "the." (Hat tip to Mary McCarthy)

OK Congress, just heard on the news about people having to turn over their genetic testing to their employer. I assume, since the American people are your employer, you all will be turning over your genetic testing for us to review. If not, don't expect us to. You all seem to be granting yourself more power than the Constitution allows.

One of Trumps campaign promises was to repeal Obama care. It never should have passed into law in the first place. Democratic rationale to pass it to find out what's in it was absurd. The entire nations healthcare system has been disrupted by Obamacare. So much lying and deceit… Most people had health insurance and they were supposed to be able to keep it, and keep their doctors, it wouldn't raise the national debt one penny. It it was supposed to be a way of helping people with pre-existing conditions to be able to get affordable healthcare insurance. All they would've had to do would be to pass a law for that one issue. Anyway it'll be interesting to see how this all pans out. Trump has said in the past that he is for national healthcare and when asked said the taxpayers would pay for it. I'm sick of know it all politicians intruding into my life. My insurance coverage went up 10 X with Obama care I don't want the government making things worse.

I am urging the members of the Freedom Caucus and every Conservative in Congress to please DO NOT give in to Paul Ryan's is Bill. You have the American people's support, please do not cave. It appears we got rid of John Boener in name only. This is just another slight of hand being played on the American people, we see through it and WE DO NOT WANT IT. PERIOD!!!!! To all the Governors who accepted Obamacare, well, that was a poor decision on your part so now you have to deal with it's consequences.

The current GOP proposal is yet another sell out of the American taxpayer and will establish yet another entitlement that we cannot afford. Repeal the monstrosity known as ObamaCare and allow the market to resolve this problem. Health care is a private matter and the government has no business meddling in this arena. The government cannot provide health care to our veterans or the poor! Why would any of us allow the government to meddle in health care for the whole nation? Repeal it now!

You all shiuld make the health care plan that all of thecongresspeople and the senators abide by the same health care plan that you want all of the people to abide by! that way you all will come up with a very good solution for the health care plan ! BUT we all know that not a single one of you will ever atempt to do anything even close to putting a plan together that you congresmen and senators have to follow along with all the people in this country!! I would surely like to hear any one of you talk about this part of the health care subject!!!

I fully support President Trump BUT this "ryancare" attempt to replace sounds like a deal he might have made with the republicans so they wouldn't oppose his inauguration. He may have those rinos, the media and the dems against him but we, the American people are behind you Mr. President. Do not push this phase 1 bill upon us - we will NOT accept it!!!! Just repeal obamacare outright, give us cross-state line competition and let the free-market apparatus do the rest....IT WILL!!!

Those of you (Congressmen/women) who VOTED for that LOUSY piece of TRASH, just because Nancy (Pukelosi) Pelosi and Harry Reid (Ret.) praised it as THE answer to America's 'healthcare' problem, made PROMISES to 'Repeal Obamacare' as soon as you were 're-elected' into office!! "WELL, WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE NOW?! ASSIST PRESIDENT TRUMP AND 'KILL' THAT PIECE OF UNCONSTITUTIONAL, ILLEGAL MONEY-MAKING, GARBAGE TOTING LEGISLATION"!! It's TOTALLY 'UNCONSTITUTIONAL' because it FORCED Middle-Class Americans who are forced to pay for OUTRAGOUS prices for health care insurance, but when they CANNOT AFFORD the 'high premiums', then the IRS penalizes them and takes a portion of their TAX-RETURN as PUNISHMENT for NOT having any health insurance at all!!! 'REPUBLICANS' are NOT supposed act like 'CHICKENS'!! Get your 'heads' out of your 'BEHINDS' (butts) and DO THE JOB THAT "WE AMERICANS" ELECTED you to do!! GOD Bless America, Her people and "OUR TROOPS"!!!

Keep the process open, no backroom deals, and give the American people--the tax payers--the final say!!! So simple, but apparently impossible for our CORRUPT political class!

I find it curious and reprehensible that this travesty foisted on the American people by profiteers is so difficult to remove. President Obama had no difficulty removing pet union members and others from this waste of American resources forcing higher costs on those remaining for "free" handouts. Either it applies equally to all (INCLUDING CONGRESS, SENATE, PRESIDENT, and all govt. employees) or it applies to none. Do the job you were all elected to perform, fulfill your promise to rid Americans of this blight, and replace it with the plan you have had over eight years to develop. Or did you think we would have forgotten?

The federal government should leave medical care to the marketplace and stay out of it all together. Anything the government does only adds to the expense unnecessarily. Let the market decide. This eliminates all the fraud inherent in federally funded medical programs. All that only adds to the costs and then the added litigation piles on more expense to the point where it is ludicrous.
