Urge Congress to keep their promises and repeal Obamacare—all of it!

Make a promise, keep a promise.

It is catastrophic and disappointing that House GOP Leadership are pretending that their proposal is a full Obamacare repeal, when it fails to even reach the minimum repeal standard passed by Congress in 2015 and vetoed by then President Obama.

Congressional Republicans have been entrusted with leadership largely due to their oft-repeated promise to repeal Obamacare, the Ryancare bill accepts the underlying principles of the failed health care law, and attempts to fix it. The Ryan bill is indefensible both from a policy and political perspective.

It is up to the American people to remind Republicans of their promise to repeal all of Obamacare. It is crazy for the GOP to try to go back to the American people and tell them that the rules of Congress prohibited them from re-establishing state based health care solutions, and instead they should be happy with a mutant national health care plan. For the first time in six years, Nancy Pelosi sees a pathway to holding the Speaker’s gavel again, ironically through the GOP’s planned failure to keep their Obamacare repeal promise that defeated her in 2010.

President Donald Trump needs to take a step back from the Ryancare abyss and listen to those of us who supported him. This legislation must be retooled to rip all of Obamacare out by the roots, followed by a replacement bill that respects the American people and the Constitution by returning authority over health care to the states.

You know what to do! Let’s urge the House and Senate to keep their election promises and fully repeal Obamacare! If last year’s repeal was good enough for former President Barack Obama to veto, it should be good enough for President Trump to sign.

REPEAL OBAMACARE. CONGRESS YOU PROMISED TO DO IT. IT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL....... HEALTHCARE IS NOT A RIGHT UNDER THE CONSTITUTION. WE SHOULD NOT BE MANDATED TO PURCHASE A PRODUCT. USING FREE MARKET PRINCIPLES AND THE FOLLOWING: REMOVE STIFLING REGULATIONS, IMPLEMENT TORT REFORM, AND ALLOW CITIZENS AND BUSINESSES TO PURCHASE HEALTH INSURANCE ACROSS STATE LINES. THIS WILL INCREASE COMPETITION AND REDUCE HEALTH CARE COSTS. DURING MY LIFE I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY TO MAINTAIN MY HEALTH. I DO NOT WISH TO SUBSIDIZE THOSE AMERICANS (WHICH IS MOST) WHO DO NOT EAT AND EXERCISE PROPERLY.

All you need to do is send the original Obama care repeal (that Obama vetoed) to president Trump. Every single period, comma, letter, word and sentence of that damn thing needs to be repealed! We aren't being fooled this time. And if it doesn't get repealed, you can bet your behind that a democrat will be holding the gavel in 2019 b/c Republican enthusiasm will be down.

Please do not legislate higher premiums for anyone! Open up the markets and let competition do its job. Get rid of the Obamacare database because it's costly, and private health records are not the business of government. End the credits because the free market will take care of high premiums. This is simple, not hard. All that's needed are open markets and legislation requiring all insurers to cover preexisting conditions and allow students to remain on their parents' plan up to age 26. Please do not protect the failing price gouging insurers that currently provide Obamacare. They have done a bad job and will continue to do a bad job.

Obamacare is a near total failure. The deductibles, copay and max out of pocket have gone from 900 per person per year to 15000 or more for all policies. This is unaffordable for all but the wealthy. Why can't we look at what other countries are doing, copy the best elements from what works and have the most reasonable health care plan on the earth? We should fix SS too, instead of the government treating it as their go to savings acct. Clean up your act Washington! You're getting rich and we are getting the shaft.

After Obamacare is repealed, the Congress can reenact those provisions that it believes should be maintained going forward, which should not include expanded Medicaid or any new entitlement. Any subsidies should be subject to the regular appropriations process, since the Federal government doesn't have any money for subsidies, and the Congress will not enact any real tax reform, such as the "Fair Tax".

We want a bill that addresses the PEOPLE'S concerns, FIRST!!! ABSOLUTELY PASS REPEAL.....FIRST!!! Don't fall into the Ryancare trap Bill as the ONLY WAY TO GO, OR ELSE! OUR health care WAS the greatest in the world before they tried to give illegals, immigrants, and fraudulent entitlement recipients and many others wide open FREE medical care. They have been taking advantage of OUR Entitlement program. WE want ALL those who TRULY can't get health care on their own to have GOOD health care. BUT their is TERRIBLE ADVANTAGE being taking of the system. Millions have come here to get on the "gravy train" and take advantage of our generosity and compassion. There is horrendous FRAUD in our Health Care, which almost ALL of us can tell you about. In drugs, hospital care, doctors, and medical treatment, they are ALL full of FRAUD!!!

It has been said by the people and promised by the Republications for the past 3 elections to Repeal All of Obamacare.!!! The people kept electing Republicans to serve for the past 3 elections leading to a full Republican majority in the House, Senate and Presidency to accomplish is goal. If Republicans want votes in the future they will honor their committment and REPEAL ALL of Obamacare. I for one as a registered Independent will not vote for another Republican unless they start keeping their promises.

You need to quit worrying about how people who will never vote for you "feel" and worry about the the ones that do vote for your dumb asses. Sincerely, Chris Harrell

It is shameful if the GOP does not fully repeal Obamacare, which is a travesty to business, health care, the our individual rights as citizens. Any new version of "Obamacare light" which includes an individual or business mandate to force citizens to buy a product or pay a fine to the government or a surcharge of 30 percent to the insurance cartel is utterly unconstitutional and against all conservative principals. Please honor your pledge to repeal Obamacare now.

What right has the US government to FORCE me to buy health insurance over food. Whether I buy health insurance or food is MY DECISION NOT the US government!!!!! I guess when I die from malnutrition, then the problem is solved!!! My doctor chastised me for losing 11 pounds from one visit to the next. I explained to him that I didn't have money, and the day before all I ate were 2 peanut butter sandwiches! But I had health insurance as I ate those peanut butter sandwiches. We heed people in the government who have been without food, not rich gourmands!!!

REPEAL it, ALL of it! No "tax credits", no "mandates", no "surcharges" to insurers for a lapse in insurance, and no more forcing us to pay for benefits for others! Healthcare is NOT a RIGHT! Medicare and Medicaid is supposed to take care of the elderly and the poor and disabled. Everyone else should be self reliant, and should be able to purchase and pay for coverage they want rather than what someone else thinks they need.
