Urge Congress to keep their promises and repeal Obamacare—all of it!

Make a promise, keep a promise.

It is catastrophic and disappointing that House GOP Leadership are pretending that their proposal is a full Obamacare repeal, when it fails to even reach the minimum repeal standard passed by Congress in 2015 and vetoed by then President Obama.

Congressional Republicans have been entrusted with leadership largely due to their oft-repeated promise to repeal Obamacare, the Ryancare bill accepts the underlying principles of the failed health care law, and attempts to fix it. The Ryan bill is indefensible both from a policy and political perspective.

It is up to the American people to remind Republicans of their promise to repeal all of Obamacare. It is crazy for the GOP to try to go back to the American people and tell them that the rules of Congress prohibited them from re-establishing state based health care solutions, and instead they should be happy with a mutant national health care plan. For the first time in six years, Nancy Pelosi sees a pathway to holding the Speaker’s gavel again, ironically through the GOP’s planned failure to keep their Obamacare repeal promise that defeated her in 2010.

President Donald Trump needs to take a step back from the Ryancare abyss and listen to those of us who supported him. This legislation must be retooled to rip all of Obamacare out by the roots, followed by a replacement bill that respects the American people and the Constitution by returning authority over health care to the states.

You know what to do! Let’s urge the House and Senate to keep their election promises and fully repeal Obamacare! If last year’s repeal was good enough for former President Barack Obama to veto, it should be good enough for President Trump to sign.

Let the markets do what the markets do best and what they know how to do. Repeal ALL of OBAMACARE...as promised, and promised, and promised!!! It was shoved down our throats with no debate. Not one single Republican law maker voted for it. So get rid of it NOW!

I know all of this is complicated, but the present "Affordable Care Act" is NOT affordable or caring. A market driven system that allows individuals to pick and choose the items that important or needful seems much more reasonable than the "onesize fits all" that is presently forced upon us.

When you can run the VA healthcare, I might listen to how you can run all healthcare. Get out of healthcare. If any of Obamacare stays in place it will be like cancer, it will just grow back and kill us all.

I'm probably like a lot of people - tired of our political system being like "professional rasslin' ". Meaning, each side plays themselves against the other, the spectators choose sides and root for them, but at the end of the day the performers leave with the spectator's (taxpayer's) money and slap each other on the back while saying, "Fooled 'em again, let's go grab a beer". If the Republicans don't make the changes people voted for then the next step probably won't be the ballot box - it will likely be more confrontational and aggressive. Less government, not more, one way or another.

Obamacare must be entirely repealed or we will see it rise again. It would be repealed if they had to enroll in Obamacare. Representatives exempting themselves from Obamacare, yet requiring all other citizens to enroll in Obamacare shows their contempt for their own citizens.

It is not acceptable to create a new entitlement and a health care insurance scheme with poorly thought out financing measures. The Ryan bill magnifies the deficiencies of Obamacare without offering realistic solutions. There are reasonable proposals out there. Why try to stage this by starting with reconciliation? This will guarantee that a successful successful replacement will never get done. If this is the best the Republican "leadership" in the Congress can do, It's way past the time for them to resign.

If the Republicans this start nonsense again, as in 2010 and 2014, promising one thing, but not delivering once in office, they will "enact" their own term limits the next time around.

Please, also remember that ObamaCare stole money from Medicare, which was in trouble even before that. So far, I have been spared, but my brother lost his doctor because he dropped all Medicare patients due to ObamaCare.

Burn the bill that was passed before we could read it! We gave President Trump all three branches to take destroy this health care bill and to rid our government of countless rules and regulations that are choking our economy. And while you are doing this, please audit all grant programs/ foreign aid programs that have gotten out of control under past administrations. The Affordable Care Act is a disgraceful product and it should be burned...every page of it and not sugar coated to buy votes!

After full repeal any further legislation should concentrate on reducing the roll of government to a minimum, only establishing oversight of the health care industry to prevent criminal action. Additionally, the members of congress, their staffs, and federal government employees MUST be covered by the same program you are offering for the common citizen.

Dears, The obamacare was supposed to improve health delivery, quality, and access for all Americans. It didn't do that. 1) Premiums went up 2) Deductibles went up 3) Services to Americans went down 4) Americans couldn't afford the ACA or private insurance 5) Americans were taxed by the IRS for not having insurance 6) Not all providers accepted all insurance plans 7) Foreigners in the USA illegally use the ACA for free healthcare 8) Priority was given to insurance industry profits over the health and wellbeing of people 9) Most insurance plans don't cover natural health remedies like herbology, acupuncture, and massage 10) Unnecessary high cost of pharmaceuticals 11) Keeping one's prefered doctor 12) Waste, fraud, abuse 13) The cost of the whole mess 14) The web site blunders I could probably find more broken and misleading promises, but you have your own. The obamacare was supposed to improve health delivery and access for all Americans. It was marketed as a plan that cared about the American people and served the best interest of our healthcare system. As long as money is the priority the health care will suffer. Make health care the priority and the whole system will be flush with health and wealth. We need a mature, thoughtful, and well organized plan that puts affordable quality health first. Any STEMs out there that can write a high efficiency health care management and delivery formula? To Our Good Health! dz:)

No Rhinocare or Ryancare or Obamacarelite V2.0..Shame on the leadership & any member who votes for it. Open health care to the free market place and charitable, private organizations and eliminate the politically imposed obstacles, rules and regulations. It is the only way to "fix" the self serving, know it all, egomaniacal wizard politicians, government imposed health care debacle.

The US had the best hospitals, doctors and healthcare system in the world, a fact shown by all of the foreigners that came here for major surgeries and other healthcare. In an attempt to make Americans slaves to the government, Obama forced a horrible monster down the throats of the American people against our will, and as predicted by many in the healthcare industry, it has been a colossal failure. DO NOT replace that failure with another failure. Repeal Obamacare in its entirety. It is time to break contact, fall back and regroup. If we must try to improve on our former healthcare system, let's actually improve it with a plan that is truly meant to help people, not make them beholden to the government.

I respectfully but adamantly join others in requesting and stating that Obamacare needs to be actually repealed and replaced with a plan the removes the Federal government's intrusive and tyrannical tentacles from the healthcare system. Coming from my distant and limited vantage point, perhaps the prior sentence may appear a bit brass and presumptive, I acknowledge that. However, others and I greatly desire to see this country return to it's constitutional republic governing foundation, and it certainly appears that the momentum that now is needs to be harnessed to do the difficult, challenging, laborious work of repealing and replacing Obamacare. Accompanying prepared, point-on messaging to increase understanding of the repeal-replace direction, and potential pains points the might occur due to the very complex process of removing this leviathanic legislation, would aide in reducing possible angst among the citizenry.

I've had it with the gutless establishment republicans (John Mitchell, Ryan, etc). All they care about is maintaining the status quo so they can get all the Washington DC perks and the hell with serving the American citizens. We had no say when ObamaCare was shoved down our throat, a massive consumer fraud by Obama, and now this haphazard plan. Seems to me, republicans need to right the disaster of Obamacare and let the states get involved with a workable health care system.. I'd prefer my work provided health care before OBC, I had options, a choice of 4 well known insurers, and excellent health care.
