Urge Congress to sustain President Trump's veto on spending bills!

For the past two years, the Democrats in Congress have held the wall funding hostage. President Trump needs your help to ensure that he has the votes to sustain his veto on future spending bills to put Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer into checkmate if they don't fund the President's priorities.

These days, Congress is not getting much done to help President Trump Make America Great Again including building the wall, but he still has one card to play.

And that is to veto any spending bill and force Congress to vote on overriding it. A vote to sustain the veto is a vote for the wall, and a vote to override the veto is a vote against the wall.

Then, to get the wall, Trump doesn’t need 218 votes in the House, he needs 146. And he doesn’t need 60 votes in the Senate, he needs 34. That’s what the separation of powers provides for.

President Ronald Reagan got tax cuts and defense spending increases by blocking spending bills, resulting in a total of eight partial government shutdowns. And he had the votes to sustain vetoes when he needed. In 1983, 146 House members signed a letter saying they would vote to sustain presidential vetoes on funding bills.

In the end, there may be no other way to force a vote on the wall that means anything — or anything else. Urge your Representative and Senators to support sustaining President Trump's veto on spending bills.

We need term limits for the worthless, self serving Legislators who spend all their time fighting for their jobs rather than working at them for the American people per their oath of office. Build the wall! It’s in your oath!

It's time for the democrats to quit their b.s. If they don't want to support President Trump then get out of the office. I'm in favor of the congress not getting a paycheck until they not only fund the wall, but until construction of the wall starts. When Obama was in office; Pelosi, Schumer, Clinton, and Barack all said the wall was necessary to protect our country. SO JUST DO IT!! How many of you democrats live in gated communities? How many of you have private or government security for protection? Why do you have gates and walls around you, but don't allow America to protect it's borders?

The principle purpose of the government is to protect the people. If it isn't going to do that, it should stay closed until it does. Build the wall.

Build the WALL, protect US Citizens from the assaults being put upon them by Illegal Immigrants. Also, I support you pulling the troops out of Syria, though President Trump needs to tell Turkish President Erdogan that there will be consequences for attacking the Kurds, our allies in Syria and Iraq
